We decided after many enjoyable holidays to Spain that the Spanish way of life would suit us. We are not saying that the Spanish do not work hard, but work is not all consuming, they have managed to instil a balance in their lives and of course the glorious weather helps. The Spanish way of life does not revolve entirely around their work, family is a very important factor in their lives, something we feel that the British have lost in their need to keep a roof over their heads.

Putting the dream to the test we purchased a Spanish Villa. Many of you can be forgiven for thinking that we have vast amounts of money and therefore it was easy for us to move, but we were just ordinary everyday British workers who took stock of our lives and decided there must be more to life than this. We still work full time but we now enjoy a stimulating social and family life as well.

Living and working in Spain has never been easier or more relaxing, it's true! All you need is a desire to embrace the dream, and the determination to carry it through.
