Algorfa lies on the banks of the Segura. One of Vega Baja’s citrus farming villages with a population of 1000, Algorfa is an agricultural paradise with lush and fertile countryside.

Just outside the town is an unusual neo-gothic church that was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century and is worth visiting. Algorfa holds a market on Sundays.
